It seems that every single negative review is riddled with emotion, which therefore leads to logical fallacy, which therefore makes your review biased and pointless. If you notice, some reviews were negative, but the subjects in question stayed objective in the heat of a true emotionaly submersive situation. This, is what makes there review respectable and honest. The fact is that all of you who were so moved into the depths of unnecessary hatred for both the movie and the director, and for some reason europeans, the movie sparked in you a tremendous emotional response. That is a defining characteristic of a good peice of art work. Your own attempts to belittle the movie and those who enjoy it, and europeans for some reason, was negated the moment anger polluted your paragraphs. The truth is, whether you hate or love it, as I do, the movie is a great work of art. It is brutally honest amd is not afraid to speak the truth. Some of you more negative persons actually went so far as to say the ending was unrealistic and no one in america(don’t know why the country your from matters at all?) would let that happen to them. The truth is, people get raped, children get molested and murdered in this world, serial killers get away with it for a while and that is just the brutal unfortunate truth. You can either accept it or run away and be an ignorant prick on website movie review forums. Please people, be objective. Don’t let your emotions run your life. Remember, we are supposed to be an intelligent species.

Wow, this movie was INTENSE. NOTHING like i’ve seen before, and the rewind scene was funny, and kinda brought me out of the “oh my god” state that the movie had me in, I mean yeah, thats what REAL psycho serial killers do…..so in fact it was more like a documentary about two “quite ones” teenage psycho killers. And the ending can make you think alot about what their talking about, different realities, or a message about how we love violence. Remember, the violent scenes were actually very rare, the audience filled that in inside thier heads. And yeah, “doesn’t the audience want good plots, with thought out characters……….”-paul Great movie, cant stop thiking about it……….kinda freaking me out.

first of all, I liked it, but I did not like the fact that the family were idiots and pussies. I mean seriously, they had a phone in the truck. on top of that if the phone turned on then 911 would of worked. thirdly, wtf would someone not at least try to fight back if you know you’re ganna die. and I did not like the rewind scene, at all.

You people are retarded. The kid try to shoot the man and the wife took a knife with her when she went outside. Remember when they came back with her and discuss the knife? They did fight back you just don’t understand what nature is really like. You can either fear [what they did], get angry and fight back, or run away. They were stricken with fear and that can really cripple someone and can even make you weaker.

I just watched The Strangers and Funny games back to back. enjoyed them both very much.

Funny Games was a very disturbing movie but very well done I think. the two sadistic preps were sick and hysterical. Makes you realize you can’t trust anyone.
