Semi-Pro - Movie Review

MetaCritic Score: 47

Well it looks like someone at the studio has been spending some time spinning the old “Will Ferrell Movie Generator” again. In the same vein as Talladega Nights, Blades of Glory, and Kicking & Screaming, Ferrell’s newest sports related offering delivers more of what we’ve come to expect. Semi-Pro certainly has its moments. I laughed several times, but there is nothing here we all haven’t seen before. I’m not going to bother doing a full review of this, but if you’re looking for a cheap laugh and like Ferrell’s other work this is worth checking out, just don’t go into it with too high of expectations.
